Taxes

Business owners in the Netherlands must pay a range of taxes, which can include taxes on income, turnover and profit, municipal taxes and environmental taxes. If you own an international business, you may also have to pay import levies. Information on tax matters can be obtained from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst).

Answers for Business provides an overview of the main forms of tax that apply to businesses in the Netherlands. Choose a form of tax from the left-hand menu.

Tax incentives

Information about allowances, exemptions from premium payments or premium discounts, tax rebates and deductible items can be found in the section about subsidies and (tax) facilities.
