Application conditions for subsidies

Subsidies are financial incentives from the government to promote specific business activities. This concerns, for example, financial contributions, tax schemes, securities and loans. Only activities that make a contribution to public interests are eligible for subsidy. This concerns, for example, innovation, export and/or the environment. There are no general start-up subsidies.

There is a good chance that you are eligible for a subsidy in the following situations:

  • You want to export products from the Netherlands.
  • You want to work together with businesses from different countries.
  • You want to invest in environmentally-friendly business assets.
  • You perform activities related to innovation, research and development.
