Working with a visual display unit (computer screen)

As an employer in the Netherlands, you must ensure that working with a visual display unit (which usually means working at a computer) does not pose a threat to the health and safety of your employees. You must ensure that there is no health and safety problem by:

• organising the employees’ work with health and safety in mind;
• using ergonomic workstations;
• making certain that the employees undergo eye examinations.
