Trading permit for medicines

If you run a pharmaceutical business in the Netherlands and you want to market a certain medicine, you will need a trading permit for medicines. You can obtain this permit from the Medicines Evaluation Board (College ter Beoordeling van Geneesmiddelen, CBG). You must submit a file to the CBG that contains all the chemo-pharmaceutical, pharmacological, toxicological and clinical data. Once the medicine has been approved, it will be included in the Register of Medicinal Products and given a registration number.
