Spam ban

All EU-based companies must comply with the ban on spam. Pursuant to this ban, you are not permitted to send any electronic messages for commercial, non commercial or charitable purposes to private individuals or companies without the recipient’s express consent. In addition, you must always give the recipient the opportunity to opt out of receiving e-mail advertising. In the Netherlands the government agency OPTA monitors any contravention of the spam prohibition.
