Reproduction rights

If you own a company in the Netherlands and you make copies of copyrighted works, your business must pay a fixed annual fee to the Reprographic Reproduction Rights Foundation (Stichting Reprorecht). Examples of copyrighted works include:

  • Magazines/trade journals
  • Newspapers
  • Weekly magazines
  • Books

The amount of the fee is based on the number of employees in your business and on the industrial sector. You will receive an invoice automatically. If you do not have a copier, you are not required to pay a fee. If you do not agree with the amount of the fixed fee, it is possible to make individual payment arrangements with the Reprographic Reproduction Rights Foundation.
