Registration of waste transporters, collectors, dealers and brokers (VIHB)

If you act as a collector, transporter, dealer or broker in respect of industrial or hazardous waste, you must register with the National and International Road Transport Organisation (NIWO). You will then be included in the national list of transporters, collectors, dealers and brokers (VIHB list). You must demonstrate your reliability and, in some cases, your professional competence. You do this with a certificate of good conduct (verklaring omtrent het gedrag, VOG) and a certificate of professional competence from the CBR/CCV.
