Permit under the Nuclear Energy Act

Ionising radiation from radioactive substances, ores, fissionable materials, natural resources and X-ray equipment may be harmful to humans, animals, plants and goods. Nuclear Energy Legislation provides rules on possessing, working with and transporting applications with ionising radiation. Depending on the application, you must apply for a permit under the Nuclear Energy Act or submit a notification with the Radiation Protection Team of NL Agency.
