Environmental regulations for agriculture

If you own an agricultural company in the Netherlands, you might be required to comply with the provisions of the Agriculture (Environmental Management) Decree (Besluit landbouw milieubeheer). The decree applies to companies such as:

  • Dairy cattle farms
  • Arable farming or horticultural companies with open soil cultivation
  • Horse keepers
