Certification of rail maintenance machines

If you want to use a rail maintenance machine for work on a railway track that is out of operation, you need a valid certificate of approval issued by a recognised inspection body. When using a rail maintenance machine on a railway track in operation, you need a deployment certificate as well as a certificate of approval. You can apply for the deployment certificate from the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment.
