Authorisation of manufacturers, processors, dealers and hauliers of meat, fish and animal feed

Producers, processors, vendors or hauliers of meat, fish, meat products, fish products or animal feed must possess the proper authorisation, which may be requested in writing from the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (Nederlandse Voedsel en Waren Autoriteit, NVWA). The NVWA investigates whether your company meets the requirements with regard to aspects such as hygiene, equipment and materials. A number of processes and procedures must be laid down in a HACCP plan or a code of hygiene.
