Aggression and violence against employees

If you own a company in the Netherlands, you are obliged to protect your employees against aggression and violence in the workplace. Acts of aggression can be physical or verbal and can be committed by colleagues, customers or patients. You must take measures to protect your employees’ safety, such as organising anti aggression training courses, and you must also arrange for shelter and after-care.

Self-Assessment of Anti-aggression and Anti-violence Initiatives

You can evaluate your anti-aggression and anti-violence initiative using the (Dutch-language) self-assessment system (Zelfinspectie Aanpak Agressie en Geweld) and then make improvements where necessary.
