About Answers for business
Answers for business makes information from the Dutch government more accessible to entrepreneurs. You will see at a glance what the requirements are, what is permitted and what the possibilities are, such as permits and rules, laws and regulations, and taxes and subsidies. You can find information on the website or phone us with your question. You can also send us an e-mail. We will either respond to your question directly or refer you to the government agency that can help you.
Partnership
Answers for business is an initiative by the Dutch government. We work closely with ministries, other national governments, provincial authorities, water boards and local councils. Answers for business is part of the Antwoord© initiative to link the various sources of government information in the Netherlands.
Policy
Answers for business offers access to websites and sources of information maintained by other government agencies. These organizations bear responsibility for the information they provide. Although we pay a great deal of care and attention to the quality of the information on our website, some of the information on the site may be inaccurate. If the information is essential to your business, be sure to verify the information with the relevant competent authorities. Bear in mind also that the website is still 'under development' and that the information on the site is not yet complete.
Research
The entrepreneur lies at the heart of the development of our services. This is why we conduct ongoing research into the demands and information needs of entrepreneurs. Our research efforts include discussions with panels of entrepreneurs, individual interviews and more large-scale research (both online and by e-mail).
