In addition to special student schemes, you can use government schemes that are meant to stimulate entrepreneurship as an entrepreneurial student.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs
As a young entrepreneur, you will be given the opportunity to work temporarily at the SME of an experienced entrepreneur in another EU country.
Small businesses scheme
If you run a small business, you may be eligible to participate in the small businesses scheme , as part of which you will pay less turnover tax (VAT).
Entrepreneur’s allowance
This is deducted from the profits so that the entrepreneur pays less tax. The entrepreneur’s allowance consists of, for example, a private business ownership allowance and tax relief for new companies.
SME loan guarantee scheme
If you have a business in the Netherlands and employ no more than 250 workers, you may be eligible for a guarantee for part of a loan, which will enable you to borrow more than would otherwise be possible based on your collateral.
Microfinancing
The microfinancing facility is available for (start-up) businesses in need of a loan or guidance. This scheme consists of a loan of up to 35,000 euros and coaching.
New business loans (venture capital)
Owners of a new business in the Netherlands can apply for a loan from a private lender pursuant to the Venture Capital Regulations (Regeling Durfkapitaal).
Valorisation programme
Consortia of companies, knowledge/research institutes and public authorities may submit subsidy applications for knowledge valorisation.
Starting your own company while receiving Wajong benefits
Students with a long-term occupational disability may be eligible to receive support in establishing their own business.
Student Programme on Entrepreneurship (closed)
You will spend 6 months in the United States where you will follow lectures at universities and will complete short-term work placements at well-known companies.
