Entrepreneurial students are youths who start or already have their own business during their studies. The Dutch government encourages initiatives that ensure that students are able to combine their studies with building a successfully business. For example, it should be possible for an entrepreneurial student to graduate while running their own business.

Student finance and entrepreneurship
Students who have their own business in the Netherlands, may receive (partially) reduced study grants and loans, depending on their earnings. All (incidental) earnings and any other benefits they may receive are taken into account. When exceeding a specific amount, student finance must be cancelled altogether.
