Answers for Business - finding your way in Dutch rules, permits and subsidies

Business surroundings

Business activity undertaken in the vicinity of your company must comply with various rules and regulations. If you intend to build an access or exit road connecting your business premises to a public road, you must have a permit from your local municipality. In principle, soil excavation (earth removal) is permitted only after you have been granted an earth removal permit from the provincial authority. You normally need a felling licence to cut down trees.
